Time to dust off the jerseys!!!
Our fabulous bunch of ladies have earned themselves yet another day out in O' Moore Park. Today they took on a very strong Ratheniska side. They played brilliantly, with some very tough challenges from both sides. Our girls never gave up on the challenges and in the end it just wasn't their day.
A special mention to out Team Captain and our 'Fair Play' Award winner, both of whom led their team from the front with poise and skill.
Thank you to Mr. Ahern, Mr. Fennelly, Mr. Doheny and Ms. McCarthy who have coached and mentored both of our Cumann na mBunscol teams this year.

It's Match Day!!!
Today our Girls A team donned our school colours and headed for O' Moore Park. We are so incredibly proud of this group who for a second year running have worked incredibly hard to get to final day. After a narrow miss last year they came up against their beloved rivals from last season and boy what a performance. It is very safe to say there was very little voices left after today's display!
None of this would be possible without the tireless help of our coaches and mentors Mr. Ahern, Mr. Fennelly, Ms. Hyland and Mr. Dohoney, who we cannot thank enough!
We even made the paper if you would like a complete run down of the game.

The Round Up...
There has been massive excitement around here this week with both our Girls A and Girls B team heading to O'Moore Park for Cumman na mBunscoil Finals day. These children have trained so very hard over the last number of weeks to get to where they are today and we are incredibly proud of each and everyone of them.
A special mention must be given to both the Boys A and Boys B teams who have played their hearts out in each and every match but alas just missed out on making the final.
Our four coaches, Mr. Ahern, Mr. Fennelly, Ms. Hyland and Ms. McWey have seen some wonderful talent in these young footballers throughout this season and it is a great privilege to see them progress so far in this incredibly though competition.
Here are full reports of all the days action.

Cumann na mBunscol 2016
This year, the school entered four teams into Cumann na mBunscol: 2 hurling teams and 2 camogie teams. The teams were made up of a mixture of pupils from 5th class and 6th class.
The girls camogie teams were trained by Ms. Luttrell and Ms. Molloy. The B team did really well this year and reached the semi final of their group. They were unlucky to be beaten by a strong Scoil Bhríde team in Rathleague. They improved with every game and there are definitely girls on this team to watch out for next year.
The girls A team were hugely successful. They were victorious in all of their games and reached the final against Castlecuffe. After a thriller match, the girls came out on top! It was a hard fought and well deserved victory for the girls who have worked so hard!
The hurlers also represented the school very well this year, trained by Mr. Ahern and Mr. O' Brien.
The Boys B had a few tough games, but it was great practice for some of the younger pupils for next year.
The Boys A had a very strong team with some excellent hurlers on the panel. They were in a tough group and succeeded in getting to the final in O' Moore park on May 25th. A strong Errill side were to be their opponents. The boys fought tirelessly on the day but unfortunately it wasn't to be. However, they did themselves and the school proud.
